Turning Points

Digging around in my old sketchbooks yielded an array of things that I thought would make for some delightful nursery art pieces. My kids tell me I'm so intent on becoming a grandmother that maybe my art should reflect that and take some of the pressure off them.
So today I started listing these on Etsy. Hope you know someone who needs a piece of art for a baby gift or baby shower. That's when I'll know that my kids were right!

Moving Right Along

No one will notice but yesterday I spent the afternoon creating a background and header for the blog. I had initially done one that was of my own design but soon realized I didn't have the technical ability to put it in place. Here's what I had wanted the background to look like:

but alas I decided after 8 hours that I would never be able to make it work so I'm settling on this background from The Cutest Blog on the Block
It's cute and a little funky and will go nicely with some of my art. I haven't had much time to sketch or create art as I'm busy adding art to My eBay and eventually My Etsy Shoppes.
I'm still thinking about how I'll make this blog useful to all of my arty readers. I'll be working on that and hopefully some new work this weekend. Until next time my dear friends...enjoy your day and be thankful that you are alive to experience it in all ways...even the annoying ones :)

Initial Posting

I have no idea how many years ago I set up this blog. I'm usually blogging at: http://wildgypsyart.blogspot.com/ but somehow the universe re-discovered this blog just when I had decided to start blogging about my art only. So I'll make this short. I've decided to start listing my art on eBay again and will also fill up my shop at Etsy. For right now I'm simply posting a thanks for stopping by message. Please follow me since I plan great things for the future. All focusing on A*R*T.
